You will learn:
  • How to check tyres for damage and wear

  • Tyre pressures and filling up with air

  • How to change a wheel if you get a flat

  • Using tyre foam

On this full-day, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the essential skills needed to maintain your car and deal with common roadside problems with confidence.

As with all of our workshops, absolutely no prior experience or knowledge is needed. The day will start with an introduction to the tools we will be working with and some safety information.

Then we will dive into the practical learning. You will be shown each skill step-by-step and will then have an opportunity to go and practice on your own car. You will work in pairs with each person getting chance to practice on their own vehicle, with an instructor close by at all times in case you need help.

You will be given an all weather handbook to use on the day and keep in your glove box for future use.

Gloves are supplied. Although the area we will be working in is covered we will still be outside so you should come prepared for inclement weather. Full length trousers and sensible shoes are a must!

The day will start at 9am and should finish around 4pm with a break for lunch. Lunch is not provided but there is plenty of shops in the local area.

Workshops are currently only running in Macclesfield with more locations TBC.
